The Birth of Girl Level Up Inc.

Girl Level Up Inc. was inspired by a personal struggle faced by Brittney Houser. During a challenging period in her life, she felt on the verge of giving up on her dreams. This pivotal moment motivated her to help other women avoid reaching that breaking point, leading to the creation of an empowering space for growth and support.

As the organization developed, it became clear that more could be done—something that would have a profound impact on youth. In 2021, Brittney moved back to her hometown of Selma, AL, during the pandemic. Reflecting on the opportunities she lacked growing up, she realized the next generation of girls could benefit from a head start in life.

With a deep commitment to making a difference, Brittney established Girl Level Up as a non-profit organization, using her experiences and empowerment to connect with the girls in the Selma community. Through this initiative, she is helping to equip young girls with the tools they need to chase their dreams and build a brighter future.
